Trichoscopy Consultation

Trichoscopy Consultation: The Smart Approach to Hair & Scalp Health

Your hair and scalp are as unique as you are. That's why a one-size-fits-all approach to hair care often falls short. Our Trichoscopy Consultation is the crucial first step on your journey to healthier hair, providing a precise, evidence-based diagnosis before a single treatment is recommended. We don't guess—we analyze.

What to Expect from Your Consultation

Our comprehensive process is designed to give you a complete understanding of your scalp and hair from the inside out.

  1. Manual Hair and Scalp Check: We begin with a traditional, hands-on check to assess your hair and scalp's general condition.

  2. Trichoanalysis Examination: Next, we use a specialized trichoscope, a high-magnification digital camera, to examine your scalp at a microscopic level. This powerful device allows us to see what's invisible to the naked eye, revealing a world of detail that holds the key to your issues.

  3. In-Depth Consultation: Following the examination, we'll sit down for a thorough discussion. We'll review the findings and talk about your lifestyle, diet, health history, and current hair care routine to build a holistic picture of your health.

What we check and why it matters

Our trichoscope allows us to diagnose a variety of conditions and imbalances, helping us choose the most effective treatment for you.

Dandruff and Product Buildup: Excess flakes and residue on the scalp can clog hair follicles, suffocating them and preventing healthy hair from growing.

Excess Sebum: A highly oily scalp can create a breeding ground for bacteria and inflammation, which can weaken hair roots and lead to hair loss.

Inflammation: Redness or irritation on the scalp is a sign of inflammation, which can directly damage the hair follicles and disrupt the natural hair growth cycle.

Hair Follicle Miniaturization: This refers to hair follicles that are getting progressively smaller. It's often an early sign of genetic hair loss, and catching it early is key to successful treatment.

Circulation Issues: By examining the blood vessels in the scalp, we can get an indication of blood flow. Poor circulation can prevent essential nutrients from reaching your hair follicles, leading to weak and brittle hair.

Hair Density and Growth Patterns: We can accurately measure your hair density and assess your growth patterns to monitor progress over time.

Scalp Skin Conditions: We can identify various scalp conditions, such as dry scalp or early signs of dermatitis, which require specific treatment.
