Qualifications and Expertise
As an aesthetics graduate from University College Birmingham, my professional journey has always recognized the critical link between scalp health and hair vitality. This focus led to an advanced specialization in the field, with a comprehensive educational path that led to enrolment in the International Association of Trichologists' program, the only university-developed trichology qualification in the world (University of Southern California). Also, specialized hair treatment courses and extensive personal research.

Personal Experience
It was my own experience with hair loss in the early stages of peri-menopause that led me to specialize in this field. I came to understand that scalp issues are intrinsically linked to the health, strength, and vitality of our hair.

My own hair became dry and lifeless. Although scalp treatments helped with baldness and density, my actual hair still looked driy, coarse and damaged. While abroad, I found a Nanoplastia treatment that delivered an exceptional result. For months, my hair was incredibly slick, healthy, and easy to manage—a truly transformative experience. When the time came for a top-up treatment, I decided to find a professional closer to home. Regrettably , although I know better, I chose a lower-priced option from a local salon. As an aesthetician, I know that quality is never cheap, but I made the mistake of thinking hair treatments are somewhat different and all "Nanoplastia" was the same. I was very, very wrong and paid for it dearly.
What followed was my personal horror story. My hair became an unmanageable, tangled mess that no amount of product or effort could fix. The salon took no responsibility, claiming I had not used their specialized home care they tried to upsell. After 2 months of literally just washing my hair, tying them up in a bun and not touching it until the next wash, I was desperate to a point that I was considering cutting them all off and starting from scratch.
I decided to educate myself instead and fix this. I have found and enrolled on hair treatment courses in UK and abroad (one of them being hosted by the salon I had my first treatment in ), did plenty of research, then started my trichology specialisation.
My research and education led me to a powerful realization: the most important trifecta for healthy hair is the combination of scalp treatments, hair regenerative treatments, and follicle nourishment from within. You cannot have beautiful, healthy hair if any of these three factors are neglected.
