Solutions we work with

This multi-step treatment begins with a targeted peel, meticulously chosen to suit your scalp's specific needs:

  1. Targeted Scalp Peel (Salicylic or Glycolic Acid): Depending on your scalp condition, we apply either Salicylic Acid or Glycolic Acid.

    • Glycolic Acid: A powerful alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that's excellent for removing dead skin cells and product build-up, promoting cellular turnover, and enhancing the scalp's ability to absorb nutrients. It's suitable for most scalp types, particularly those needing gentle yet effective exfoliation and hydration.

    • This initial step deeply cleanses and prepares the scalp for subsequent nourishing treatments.

  2. Salicylic Acid: Ideal for oily, flaky, or dandruff-prone scalps. It's a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) that deeply penetrates oil glands, exfoliating dead skin cells, dissolving sebum, and reducing inflammation. It effectively clears clogged follicles and helps to regulate oil production.

  3. Clarifying Cleanse: Following the peel, your hair is thoroughly washed with a Clarifying Shampoo. This professional-grade shampoo ensures the complete removal of any residual peel solution, toxins, product build-up, and impurities, leaving your scalp feeling incredibly clean and refreshed.

  4. Pro Bond Hair Mask for Rejuvenation: Next, a luxurious Pro Bond Hair Mask is applied. This mask is specifically formulated to rejuvenate and strengthen the hair strands from within. It works to repair damage, reduce breakage, and restore elasticity, preparing your hair for optimal health and shine.

  5. Lustrous Hair Ampoule: To seal in the benefits of the mask and impart incredible shine, a specialized Hair Ampoule is then applied to the hair. This concentrated treatment delivers a potent dose of nutrients, smooths the cuticle, and locks in moisture, resulting in lustrous, visibly healthier hair.

  6. Nourishing Dexpanthenol Scalp Ampoule: Once the hair treatments are complete and rinsed, attention returns to the scalp. A Nourishing Dexpanthenol Scalp Ampoule is gently massaged in. Dexpanthenol (Provitamin B5) is renowned for its deep moisturizing and soothing properties. It calms the scalp, reduces irritation, and provides intense hydration, ensuring the scalp remains balanced and healthy after the exfoliation.

  7. Gentle Drying: Finally, your hair is gently dried, revealing a detoxified scalp and beautifully rejuvenated, radiant hair.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Open Wounds or Cuts: Any open sores, cuts, or abrasions on the scalp could lead to pain, infection, and an adverse reaction to the peel.

Active Infections: Active fungal, bacterial, or viral infections on the scalp (e.g., ringworm, folliculitis) must be resolved before treatment.

Irritated Scalp Conditions: Clients with severe or active psoriasis, eczema, or seborrheic dermatitis on the scalp should not receive a peel.

Sunburn: A sunburnt scalp is highly sensitive and can be severely irritated by the peel.

Allergies: A known allergy or hypersensitivity to salicylic acid, glycolic acid, or any other ingredients in the products used.

Recent Procedures: The scalp should not be treated if the client has recently had other procedures that may increase sensitivity, such as hair colouring, bleaching, or other chemical treatments.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: As a standard precaution, this treatment is generally not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding clients.

PRE TREATMENT

Attend a full consultation to discuss your concerns and health history.

Avoid Irritation: dot to scratch or scrub their scalp for at least 48 hours before the appointment.

The client should arrive with unwashed hair from the previous day, as the scalp's natural oils provide a protective barrier.

Avoid using any harsh hair products, such as dry shampoo, heavy styling gels, or strong leave-in conditioners, for 24-48 hours before the treatment.

Disclose Medications: The client must inform of any medications they are taking, especially any topical or oral treatments for acne or hair loss, as these can affect skin sensitivity.

AFTER CARE

No Washing for 24 Hours: The client should not wash their hair for at least 24 hours to allow the scalp to fully recover and the applied products to work.

Avoid Heat and Products: For 48 hours, they should avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and direct heat from styling tools like hair dryers, straighteners, and curling irons. They should also avoid any new hair products during this time.

Protect from Sun: The scalp will be more sensitive to UV light. Advise the client to avoid direct sun exposure and wear a hat when outdoors for at least one week after the treatment.

Be Aware of Flaking: Inform the client that some mild flaking or tightness in the scalp may occur in the days following the peel. This is a normal part of the exfoliation process and will resolve on its own.
